Shimza is a Tembisa-born DJ and producer who founded the Kunye party brand, label, and live-stream series. Those projects provide a visible platform for South African electronic artists without making him the country's single ambassador.
His documented programme includes Shimza & Co shows, shared billings and Kunye brand events. A Kunye event without a published lineup is labelled as such; the brand's event date alone does not confirm that Shimza is performing.
